Braids & Blessings was created from a desire to use our skills to be a blessing to others — one braid at a time.

Braids & Blessings has two expressions: a children’s initiative every other Sunday, and a Heroes Edition that honors everyday community servants each month — both rooted in the belief that kindness matters and service has purpose.
BLESSING CHILDREN
Confidence for Every Child.
Every other Sunday, we provide complimentary braid services to children whose families may benefit from a helping hand.
Our goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to feel confident, loved for, and ready to shine at school and in everyday life. Appointments are limited and scheduled based on availability.
Guidance counselors, social workers, school administrators, teachers and community leaders are also encouraged to refer families directly.

Heroes Edition.
We also recognize the everyday heroes who dedicate themselves to serving others. Each month, we provide a complimentary braid service to a nominated recipient as a small token of appreciation for the work they do.
These are the people who show up quietly, consistently and selflessly — in our hospitals, our schools, our firehouses and our streets. They deserve to be seen and celebrated.
